Registered Care Manager

A Registered Manager is a Branch Manager who has successfully undergone a registration process with the Care Quality Commission (CQC). Branch Managers intially complete their Skills for Care Mangers Induction Standards and either have completed or are working towards completion of their Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care Leadership.  Once they have completed these elements then they can apply to become the Registered Manager of the branch, The process involves undergoing an interview with CQC to ensure all the required knowledge and skill sets are in place to manage the care service appropriately.

All branches must have a Registered Manager in post and in some instances this will be the Branch Manager and in other instances it may be the Area Care Manager depending on the experience of the Branch Manager in post.

Registered Managers undertake the same work as Branch Managers in being ultimately responsible for the overall delivery of care to our clients. They achieve this through managing, leading and supporting the office team, care team and supervisory team to all undertake their job roles to the best of their abilities.

This role would suit somebody who is a natural leader, who is very organised and able to self-motivate. They need to be able to multi-task and to be able to relate and get the best out of people from all backgrounds.  It is a very rewarding role but it can be challenging at times  so the person suited to this role needs to be resilient and  able to motivate others. to ensure the overall continuity of care services at all times and to the highest possible standard.

If you feel that you have what it takes to work as a Registered Manager for Radfield Home Care then please do check our  Vacancies page regularly  as if we have any roles available then we would love to hear from you.
