“I have worked in the health and social care sector ranging from children care to adult social care for 14 years. In my previous job, I worked in a nursing and residential home as a unit manager/team leader for two years and gained experience in writing compliance reports and audits which gave me recognition in my career to manage the home as the Deputy Manager for 6 months before my onboarding with Radfield Home Care.

“My knowledge in home compliance for adult social care is an essential skill in practice for my Deputy Manager position with Radfield Home Care. Becoming an older adult is an inevitable phase in life and a privileged journey to be part of. Hence, being part of that journey to show care from the heart is more than just a job for me, it is a passion and commitment for me to treat these adults with care, respect, dignity, and making them feel special.”

Sophia is committed to ensuring excellence in care and has a number of qualifications such as an Auxiliary Nursing Care Certificate and is undertaking a Level 5 in Health and Social Care (Adult Services). Sophia is passionate that strong relationships form an important part of this, as she explains:

“My experience and commitment over the years working in the health and social care sector has equipped me well to ensure that our clients receive the high level of care and protection they deserve whilst maintaining their choice over the care and support they receive. I believe in maintaining strong relationships with my clients, relatives and other healthcare professionals, and understand the important difference that these outstanding relationships can make.”
