Grattons
Gratton’s Indoor Bowls Club has a long and chequered history and was open on 24th November 1983. This is a place where group where members can interact with each other and keep up to date on matches and social events. The club accommodates bowling for all levels. They have a large variety of leagues all year round, weekly Ladies-only bowling, summer and winter internal competitions, mixed friendly matches with other clubs, National and County competitions and Roll ups and Drives.
Grattons has an active social club which organises Bingo, Race Nights, Quiz Nights and trips to the London Theatres. The facilities are also utilised by Crawley Bridge Club who play at the club. Grattons has been running now for over 40 years and continues to provide a welcoming place for people to enjoy the sport of bowls.

Popes Mead
Popes Mead is a long established club, having celebrated it’s centenary in 2018. They have a very well maintained green, looked after by its own members, alongside an all-weather green for all the year round bowling. For the new bowlers there are club coaches to help and advise on bowling techniques.
Popes Mead have a busy summer season bowling with fixtures against various clubs in the area of Sussex and Surrey. This provides good social contacts, friendly and competitive matches. They have a splendid club house with its own kitchen and bar. During the winter months they have various social activities, such as short mat bowls, darts evenings, quizzes, bingo, horse and dog racing in various forms. Menshare
Menshare Listening Group is a voluntary service based in Crawley, West Sussex, supporting men from the ages of 18+ who may be going through tough and challenging times. The voluntary service holds circles which are designed for all men to be able to see each other whilst sharing their life experiences. The circles hold the highest confidentiality and respect. Menshare Listening group has been supporting men to talk openly about their experiences and talk about issues that are having an impact on them. The group has helped men talk about their life experiences that have impacted their mental health such as Relationship problems, Covid-19, Bereavement, Illnesses, Homelessness, Isolation, Addictions, Being a new father, Employment problems, Social conflicts and Childhood experiences.
Radfield has had the pleasure of working closely with Menshare Listening Group via various community events, pop up events and fairs whereby we have connected on our passion on making a difference within the community. By partnering with Menshare, we can create initiatives that strengthen community ties. Together, we can organise events and workshops that bring clients, families, and Care Professionals together to share experiences and learn from one another.
