Iain Sempill, Foot Health Practitioner

Iain Sempill is a foot health practitioner who we are proud to partner with, enabling us to refer clients to a trusted professional in this field. Iain comments:

In 2012 my mother, who had dementia, came from overseas to live with my family, and I began to I understand how difficult it was to cope with this disease. After my mother’s death following a fall with complications, I felt the need to join the Alzheimer’s befriending service, which I found very rewarding.

This lead to a complete change of career direction for me, from many years in the hospitality industry to caring for others, and it was during this time that I realised the importance of foot health in the elderly. I decided to take this further and trained at the Smae Institute in Maidenhead to become a foot health practitioner.

Since qualifying I have found my work to be very enjoyable and satisfying, and I hope to be able to make a little difference in peoples lives.
