Pav Gill believes that great care begins with kindness, understanding, and genuinely taking the time to listen.
His journey into home care was shaped not just by his professional background, but by his upbringing, his community, and his personal values. Before opening Radfield Home Care Bexley, Dartford and Sidcup, Pav worked in technology and business development. While this taught him the importance of organisation, safety, and reliability, it was his earlier experiences that truly shaped how he approaches care today.
Growing up, Pav helped to run his family’s local retail business. He quickly learned that for many older people, it was not just a shop; it was a place of familiarity, conversation, and connection. He saw first-hand how small moments of kindness could make a big difference to someone’s day.
Alongside this, Pav supported the Erith and Belvedere Sikh Temple, helping elderly members of the congregation with IT and technology. What stayed with him most was not the technical side, but the patience, reassurance, and trust that came from helping people feel less alone in a fast-changing world.
Raised in a Sikh household, Pav grew up with the principle of Seva; selfless service to others. He was taught that we look after our elders, that home is where people feel safest, and that everyone deserves dignity, no matter their age or circumstances. For him, the idea of care has always been personal.
When Pav discovered Radfield’s approach to home care, it felt like a natural fit. The model reflects what he would want for his own family; care that allows people to remain at home, stay connected to their community, and continue living life on their own terms.
Today, Pav leads his service with the belief that care should never feel rushed, impersonal, or transactional. He sees every client as an individual, with their own story, routines, and wishes. His aim is to build long-term relationships based on trust, consistency, and genuine understanding.
“My goal is simple; I want every person we support to feel safe, respected, and truly cared for; just as I would want for my own family.”
