Samantha Wainwright

Registered Care Manager

About Samantha

For over 19 years, Samantha’s career in adult social care has been driven by a deep sense of purpose. She first entered the sector when her daughter was just two months old, taking on a part-time domiciliary care role because she wanted a career that felt truly meaningful and worth the time away from her new-born.

Nearly two decades later, she has never looked back. Guided by empathy, dedication, and a belief that caring for someone is one of the highest honours and privileges a person can be given, she remains as passionate about delivering exceptional care today as when she first started.

Professional Experience

Samantha brings nearly two decades of broad, hands-on experience across virtually every setting in the care sector, from home care and retirement communities to complex nursing environments. Having worked her way up from front-line carer to Care Coordinator, Care Manager, and Registered Manager, she understands the care journey from every perspective.

Her impressive credentials and experience include:

  • Diverse Sector Expertise: Extensive background supporting individuals with complex needs, including end-of-life care, mental health conditions, and advanced dementia.
  • Specialised Training: Completed the prestigious Six Steps Programme with the Princess Alice Hospice, focusing on end-of-life care excellence.
  • Formal Qualifications: Holds NVQ Levels 2 and 3 in Health and Social Care, as well as a Level 2 in Hospitality and Catering.
  • Staff Mentorship & Training: Qualified trainer experienced in upskilling care teams, ensuring high standards of safety, compliance, and compassionate service.

Why Home Care?

“It is the biggest honour to be able to care for someone else, to be given that trust not only from the client, but from their family.”

Having explored various care settings over her 19-year career, her return to home care was driven by a desire to focus on person-centred support where clients can thrive in their own familiar surroundings.

Her extensive time spent on the front line gives her a deep, practical understanding of what both clients and caregivers need. By combining clinical insight, continuous staff training, and genuine empathy, she is dedicated to ensuring families across Caterham, Oxted & Edenbridge receive a service built on trust, safety, and heartfelt care.
