Shelly Stephens

With extensive experience within the care sector, Shelly Stephens is Radfield Home Care Derby, Ashbourne & South Derbyshire’s Business Development Manager. Shelly manages, guides and directs the care management team and undertakes business development work within the local community.

Joining Radfield in April 2023, having spent several decades working in the healthcare sector, Shelly has brought her clear passion and skills to the team.

Shelly explains:

“I have over 20 years experience in Sales/Care and Management, which has thoroughly prepared me for my business development manager role. I started in the health care sector as a health care assistant (HCA), progressing and gaining experience in various different roles, which ultimately led to me running my own domiciliary care company.”

The importance of the provision of high-quality care has been a theme that has run throughout Shelly’s care experience:

“As well as previously being a Compliance Manager, where I pushed for the highest standards, I have held other positions where I have provided assistance to Care Home Managers looking to improve the services within their homes.

Ever since I first started as a HCA I have been dedicated to offering excellent care, always happy to go that extra mile for anyone I have looked after. Ensuring that all of our clients at Radfield receive excellent care is a personal mission. As a people person, I have the essential communication skills which are required for this role and really enjoy the opportunity to speak to our clients, care professionals and members of the community. I am excited to be working for Radfield who, like me, are passionate about helping to ensure the older generation are able to live their best and most fulfilling lives”.
