About Gemma

Gemma Bristow, Care Manager of Radfield Home Care Wakefield and Huddersfield, has over 13 years of experience in supporting individuals to live as independently as possible in their own homes. Gemma has worked in a variety of roles within the care sector throughout her career to date and has always ensured that everyone in her care receives the highest possible standards of care and support.

Gemma believes in treating other people as you would wish to be treated yourself and only recruits carers into her team who have the right fundamental values and who will respect and treat clients as though they are family. She strongly believes in helping clients to maximise their independence – taking them out and about and keeping in touch with local events and maintaining relationships, and ensures that Radfield Home Care plays a strong role in the local community that it serves.
