“Owning and operating your our own business enables us to have control over the quality of services we provide. My husband and I have both previously worked for employers where we have had limited decision making power regarding the quality of services that were provided and by running our own business, we will have full control over the strategic direction of the business and ensuring that the quality of services remains outstanding.”
Jackie Gillen, Director & Owner
Radfield Home Care Wakefield & Huddersfield are dedicated to providing outstanding live in care and visiting care to people living in their own homes. Our services are delivered without compromise and we are committed to Be There, helping our nation age well by remaining connected to the things that matter most to them.
The Wakefield & Huddersfield office was established in 2018 by Jackie and Mark Gillen, bringing quality home care built on a forty year legacy to the Wakefield area. Jackie and Mark wanted to establish a high-quality home care service to help older people age well at home and create a supportive work environment for exceptional care professionals.
Today, Radfield Home Care Wakefield & Huddersfield, provides expert care services that can support individuals affected by medical conditions such as dementia, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, cancer, and respiratory failure. Our team can also help people get out and about with companionship care and trips into the community. We deliver bespoke care packages – from weekly visits to extensive multiple care visits during the day and night – tailored to suit your unique needs. We also have the provision for end-of-life care for those preferring to spend their final days at home. We use the latest technology to feed information back to our office in real-time so any issues can be dealt with by our dedicated office team immediately. Loved ones may also access up-to-date information on the care plan via a dedicated phone app.
