About John

John has helped over 100 prospective business owners find their perfect franchise. He now brings over 25 years of commercial, marketing and franchising experience to Radfield Home Care’s national franchise support team. Having worked with both international corporations and growing franchise networks, John understands what it takes to build a successful business and form strong, lasting partnerships.

Originally from the Netherlands, John studied Marketing and Business at The Hague University of Applied Sciences before beginning a global career that took him across Europe, Australia and New Zealand. His early career included more than two decades with W. L. Gore & Associates, the company behind the market-leading GORE-TEX brand. During this time, he developed expertise in strategic sales, relationship management and operational growth; skills that now help Radfield’s franchise partners strengthen and expand their own businesses.

After leaving Gore in 2017, John entered the world of franchising, helping entrepreneurs establish and grow their businesses. He worked with Driving Miss Daisy, supporting franchise recruitment and operations across the UK, and later joined The Franchising Centre, where he helped international brands like Snowfox Group (YO! Sushi) expand through franchising.

At Radfield Home Care, John supports franchise partners from their very first enquiry through to the launch and growth of their business. He works closely with new owners to help them understand the care sector, build strong foundations and reach their goals. Known for his friendly approach and practical advice, John ensures every franchise partner feels confident, supported and part of the wider Radfield community.

Outside of work, John lives in Scotland with his wife Ann, who runs a successful Driving Miss Daisy franchise. Their son lives in Amsterdam, and their daughter is currently studying at university in Edinburgh. When he’s not supporting franchise partners, John enjoys golf, pickleball and keeping active at the gym.
