Tshana Curtis

We would like to introduce you to Tshana Curtis, office administrator for Radfield Home Care Bexhill, Hastings & Battle. Tshana provides support in the office, working with the registered manager to ensure the smooth running of the office. Tshana supports a variety of administrative tasks including HR, recruitment, ensuring that relevant IT software systems are up to date and dealing with queries from Care Professionals and clients.

Tshana describes how her background is a perfect fit for her role:

“My first ever job was a Health Care Assistant and since then I have always wanted to take on a role that is there to help people, and generally tried to aim to do this in every role I have taken on since then. I saw Radfield’s Office Administrator role on Indeed and it sounded like the perfect role for me. I love being organised and list making so being an Office Administrator I knew would be something I could thrive in, it also swayed me that Radfield is a care company and my role will in turn help those who ensure vulnerable adults are taken care of.”

“My current role is the Office Administrator. I enjoy the atmosphere in the office. Everyone is so welcoming and kind. Everyone is always open to helping when needed and nothing seems too much hassle.”

For Tshana, Radfield stood out to her in comparison with other care providers, as she explains:

“The client’s needs are put first. I’ve worked for a few places where I feel the support of the clients can be lacking from the company or may not be at the forefront of the company’s values, however I feel at Radfield we provide a service that I personally would love for any of my family members to receive, should they ever need to. Radfield is consistently aiming to do better and be better, which is what I personally am always aiming for in my day-to-day life. I also love that Radfield are always looking to arrange events/days for the clients or holiday related treats, for example, Pancake day kits for the carers to take to the clients and make for them. It’s the little touches that make a company shine and it definitely does this for Radfield.”
