We would like to introduce you to Helen, Social Media & Admin Assistant for Radfield Home Care Chester & Ellesmere Port.
I enjoyed a 15-year career as a primary school teacher, a role I truly loved and found incredibly rewarding. After over a decade in education, I decided to embrace a new challenge and transitioned into the world of social media. Since then, I’ve had the pleasure of working with a variety of small businesses, helping them create engaging content, build brand awareness, and communicate their values to wider audiences. I’m now excited to bring those skills to Radfield Home Care Chester & Ellesmere Port, shining a light on the amazing work being done and helping to share the heart of what makes this care team so special!
During my 15 years as a primary school teacher, I developed excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to build strong, trusting relationships, qualities that are also essential in the care sector. Teaching taught me how to connect with people from all walks of life, to listen actively, and to respond with patience and understanding.
My more recent work in social media has helped me build skills in storytelling, branding, and community engagement. I’ve worked with small businesses to creatively promote their values and services, something I’m now passionate about bringing to RHC.
I’ve always been drawn to roles that involve helping and connecting with others, and that’s been a consistent thread throughout my career. During my time as a teacher, I saw first-hand how important care, empathy, and support are, not just for children, but for families and communities as a whole.
Through my experience in social media and content creation, I can help shine a light on the incredible work our care team does every day. By sharing real moments, promoting awareness, and celebrating the values at the heart of Radfield, I hope to help clients and their families feel confident, informed, and connected to the people who support them. Ultimately, it’s about helping build a sense of trust and community, which I believe is at the core of quality care.
