A special river trip for Maureen – Be There Moment

We believe that the little moments often make the biggest difference. Supporting people to stay connected to the places, activities and memories that matter to them is an important part of helping them age well and continue living life on their own terms. Our June Be There Moment is a wonderful example of this.

A trip down memory lane

Recently our Client Services Manager, Di, and Care Professional Sophie, took Maureen out for coffee and a scone by the river. During the outing Maureen shared that she had not visited the riverside for a long time. Looking forward to the trip, she got herself dressed up and was excited to spend some time out and about.

What may seem like a simple outing can mean so much. The opportunity to enjoy a change of scenery, revisit a favourite place and spend time in good company can have a hugely positive impact on wellbeing. Maureen told us how much she enjoyed the trip and how lovely it was to get out of the house. It was a special reminder of how meaningful it can be to simply spend time with someone and help them reconnect with the things they love.

The power of being there

Our June Be There Moment celebrates the power of simply being present. Whether it is sharing a laugh over a cup of tea, offering a listening ear, joining in a favourite activity or providing reassurance during a difficult day, these small moments can make a huge difference.

At Radfield Home Care Chester & Ellesmere Port, we are passionate about helping people Be themselves, Be connected to the people, communities and places that matter to them, and Be inspired to lead the life they want to. Maureen’s river trip perfectly reflects these values. It was not just about coffee and cake; it was about connection, companionship and creating a moment that brought joy.

Supporting people to stay connected

Through our personalised home care services, our Care Professionals support people to remain independent while continuing to enjoy the things that matter most to them.

Whether it is a visit to a favourite café, attending a local group, seeing friends and family or simply spending time doing something they enjoy, we understand the importance of maintaining connections and making meaningful memories. We are incredibly proud of the compassion, kindness and dedication shown every day by our Care Professionals, who truly embody what it means to be there for others.
