About Natalie

Natalie’s path to becoming a care leader spans countries, cultures, and decades, showing that supportive care has truly always been in her DNA. Before moving to the UK from South Africa in 2009, she spent a year living in Frankfurt, Germany, working as an au pair.

Since arriving in the UK, Natalie has spent nearly two decades navigating the healthcare and business landscapes, specialising in complex, high-dependency clinical environments before transitioning into business leadership. This hands-on journey on the ground, which included delivering clinical care to residents with complex spinal injuries, showed her the profound reward of helping individuals maintain their dignity.

Today, Natalie’s approach to adult social care is defined by a deep, front-line understanding of hands-on care combined with a sharp, highly structured business mind.

Also a licensed Private Pilot, Natalie brings a unique ability to stay calm, analytical, and highly methodical under pressure, ensuring the branch always has a steady hand at the helm.

Professional Experience

Natalie’s career is a rare blend of clinical care management and robust financial operations. She has spent years working at every level of the care sector while simultaneously managing the complex back-office demands of growing businesses.

Her diverse and impressive skill set includes:

  • A Carer’s Heart: Years of experience carrying out physical care needs assessments, writing personalised care plans, and supervising care staff in the field to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • A Financial Manager’s Mind: Extensive experience managing end-to-end financial operations, including bookkeeping, payroll, cash flow forecasting, profit and loss reporting, and handling HMRC and Companies House compliance.
  • Operational Excellence: Expert in coordinating complex care schedules and matching specific staff capabilities with client needs to ensure continuity of care without staff burnout.
  • Workforce Development: Experienced in managing the full recruitment cycle, from interviewing and rigorous DBS background checks to onboarding and scheduled training.

Why Home Care?

“I love helping people and I have seen first-hand how much of a difference proper, reliable care makes. Starting out in hands-on care as a spinal specialist showed me how rewarding it is to help someone keep their dignity. But moving into care co-ordination and management showed me the bigger picture, especially how much stress families go through when they can’t find care they can trust.”

By combining her front-line experience with back-office business sense, Natalie is dedicated to building a service for the Oxford & Abingdon communities where clients are treated with utmost dignity, communication is seamless, and the care team genuinely feels valued and supported to do their best work.

Natalie welcomes local families and prospective Care Professionals to get in touch for an informal chat about how Radfield Home Care Oxford & Abingdon can support you.
