Our Story

Jennie and Lisa, owners and directors of Radfield Home Care are cousins who grew up in the Havering area. Their nan ('Nanny Fish') was a huge part of their lives and upbringing.

Nan's house always felt like home, with fond memories playing cards, enjoying her roast dinners to having four squares of chocolate as a treat! She looked after us for so many years, and when the time came for her to need care, we were fortunate enough to have an uncle who was in a position to care for our nan. Whilst she had dementia and increasing needs, she really benefited from having care in her loving home.

This was the inspiration for us to launch our own home care business, and we are proud to be able to support the elderly communities across Havering & Brentwood to remain independent, happy and healthy in their own homes.

In March 2017, we opened our home care office on Butt’s Green Road in Hornchurch. In April 2017, we employed our Registered Care Manager - Natalea Haydon. She has 9 years experience in care, leading our carers to deliver high-quality care to our clients. Natalea’s knowledge of the healthcare sector is excellent and she continually communicates with social services, district nurses, GPs and other healthcare professionals to ensure our clients are well cared for.

We gained our registration from the Care Quality Commission in June 2017 and since then we have been building an incredible talent base of carers who truly live our Radfield values - proud to care, we are family and we are on your side. Our team genuinely care about providing our clients with the best service possible.

We now provide community care services to clients ranging from 65 all the way up to 103 years old, and our care services range from helping our clients get dressed in the morning, taking them out for afternoon tea, to supporting them with medication and meal preparation.

In November 2017, we were honoured to be given the prestigious ‘Judges Award’ at the Thames Gateway Business Awards, which came with a £12,000 marketing prize fund and in February 2018 we won the ‘New Business of the Year Award’ at the Havering Business Awards, rewarded as a result of the ‘excellent retention rates of both clients and staff and also the fast growth the business experienced.’

We aim to be the best at what we do and we will strive to go the extra mile for all our clients and carers. Our office is open 8.30am to 4pm Monday to Friday and we are always available out of hours on the office phone number - 01708 609 364.
