About Charlotte

We would like to introduce you to Charlotte Reed, care manager for Radfield Home Care Havering & Brentwood. Charlotte is a key point of contact for the Care Professionals, clients and their families and promotes individual’s wellbeing at all times.

Charlotte has proudly dedicated her working life to the care sector. She joined Radfield Home Care in September 2017 and thanks to her fantastic work ethic and unwavering commitment; she rose swiftly through the ranks.

Having begun her Radfield career as a care worker, she was promoted to Field Care Supervisor in January 2018. Shortly after in January 2019, she moved up to the role of deputy care manager.

Charlotte has worked with a range of individuals of all ages and with many different conditions. She’s well qualified, with a level 3 diploma in health & social care, a level 3 award in education & training, a level 3 teaching & assessing accreditation, a level 3 learning and development accreditation and is currently working towards adding even more academic certificates to her repertoire.

Charlotte tells us what inspired her to join the care sector:

“My main inspiration is my Uncle. He was a paramedic and I always enjoyed his stories. I would see him as a hero when he was in the local paper or when he was in action at the scene of an emergency. In 2012, he passed away. He received a service funeral from the London ambulance service and it was in that moment I knew my calling was in care.”

Charlotte is very passionate about providing high quality and safe care to individuals as well as providing the same high-quality support for the care team. Having worked across different agencies and settings, Charlotte experienced the highs and lows that Care Professionals, experience on a daily basis. This deeper understanding of the carer’s role means she can support both in the field and their general wellbeing.
