Care most definitely runs in the family at Radfield Home Care. Founders and siblings, Hannah and Alex, grew up in the large, successful residential care home set up and run for many years by their parents.
With over 40 years’ experience, working in the residential care home and running local home care offices, not to mention caring for their own grandparents through Radfield, Alex and Hannah understand care in all its glory.
Now, as a national network of locally-owned offices, Radfield is on a mission to bring the same quality of care to communities across the UK.
“Care is amazing. Great quality care can transform a moment, a day, even a relationship. That’s why we believe care should be about making people feel understood, valued and supported. About enabling people to live their best life for as long as possible. That’s what exceptional care means to us. It’s what we grew up with, how our parents inspired us and now we’re proud to be working with outstanding franchise partners to take the Radfield standard of care out to the nation.”
Our story begins when Alex and Hannah’s parents, Chris and John, set up and opened Radfield Residential Home on Kennedy Road, Shrewsbury.
Hannah qualified as a doctor and then a GP, working across the UK and in New Zealand, while Alex worked in finance for companies such as HSBC and Halifax and a number of charitable organisations.
Spotting a need for local, quality home care, Alex and Hannah set up the first Radfield Home Care office in Shrewsbury. Working out of the garage adjacent to the residential home in the great entrepreneurial tradition.
