Making waves at the Colchester Careers Fair

We’ve been busy this week drumming up interest in careers in care at the Colchester Careers Fair. The event itself was held at the Colchester Community Stadium on August 12th from 10am – 2pm.

The fair was attended by a lot of well known and respected exhibitors such as The University of Essex, British Army, Essex Council and a wealth of recruitment agencies.

Raising awareness for a good cause

The goal was to meet new people and spread the message about the importance of home care in an ageing society. It’s our mission to promote independence among older people and help keep them connected to what matters most to them. By encouraging older people to receive care at home, they can retain a sense of self, surrounded by their own belongings.

We had a lot of engaging conversations with some really fantastic attendees. It was great to get to know everyone and we even came away with two CV’s and handed out six application forms. Every Care Professional that we onboard is changing the lives of our clients and every single one is appreciated for the amazing work they do every day. It only takes one person to change the life of a vulnerable person and put a smile on their face.
