Director of Radfield Home Care Stamford, Peterborough & Rutland, James Beech said: “Throughout my career I have witnessed the fantastic commitment of healthcare staff first hand. In too many instances they are underpaid and underappreciated, which is why we are proud to offer our home care professionals the Real Living Wage and commit to increasing their salaries as the cost of living in the UK rises. We have a fantastic team of carers here at Radfield and I feel it is only right to support them with good rates of pay and all the support they need to provide high quality care to our clients.”

The current minimum government guidelines for hourly rates are dependent on age, whereas those for Radfield Home Care Stamford, Peterborough & Rutland care assistants are regardless of their age. This will mean Radfield Home Care employees will earn up to £1.85 more per hour than the equivalent age-based minimum wage.

As an accredited Living Wage Employer, Radfield Home Care Stamford, Peterborough & Rutland is also helping support the national shortage of social care workers by encouraging more individuals to consider working with people in home care jobs as a rewarding career in care.
