The recent Living Well Adult Front Door event, held at The Hive Library in Worcester, was a fantastic opportunity to bring together local services and organisations with a shared goal: supporting people to live well, independently, and confidently within their community.
The event created a warm, welcoming environment where individuals could access valuable information, ask questions, and explore the wide range of support available across Worcester.

Radfield Home Care Worcester, Droitwich & Malvern was delighted to be part of the day, exhibiting a stand focused on raising awareness of the comprehensive home care services we provide.
It was a real pleasure to meet so many members of the local community, taking the time to listen to their circumstances, offer guidance, and provide reassurance around the often complex topic of care.
These face-to-face conversations are incredibly important, allowing us to better understand the needs of the community while helping individuals feel more confident about their options.
Alongside connecting with residents, the event also provided a valuable opportunity to network with other local providers, council services, and charities who are all working towards the same goal of supporting ageing well in Worcester.
Building these relationships is essential, as it strengthens collaboration across the sector and ensures that individuals can be signposted to the right support at the right time.
At Radfield Home Care, we offer a range of services designed to support people at every stage of their care journey. Our visiting care service provides flexible, personalised support in the comfort of an individual’s own home, whether that involves assistance with daily routines, companionship, or more specialist care needs.
For those requiring more continuous support, our live in care service offers round-the-clock care, enabling individuals to remain safely and comfortably in familiar surroundings.
In addition, our adult day care centre offers a safe and engaging space where clients can enjoy meaningful activities, social interaction, and professional support during the day, helping to reduce isolation, promote wellbeing and offer families and carers regular reliable respite.
As part of our contribution to the event, we were pleased to offer a free 30-minute presentation, followed by a Q&A session, centred around Understanding Care Choices.
This session was designed to be completely neutral and informative, providing attendees with practical advice on how to access care, the different levels of support available, how to research and choose a quality care provider, and the key questions to ask when making decisions about care.
The aim was to equip individuals and families with the knowledge they need to make informed choices with confidence when the time comes, and also encourage the community to think about planning their care before crisis.
This commitment to education and transparency is at the heart of Radfield Home Care’s ethos. We believe that empowering people with knowledge is just as important as delivering high-quality care.
By helping individuals understand their options early, we can reduce uncertainty, support better decision-making, and ultimately enable more people to live well in their own homes and communities.
Events like Living Well are a powerful reminder of the importance of community, collaboration, and accessible information.
We are proud to have been part of such a meaningful day and look forward to continuing our work supporting the people of Worcester with compassion, expertise, and a commitment to making care clear and accessible for all.
