At Radfield Home Care Liverpool North & Sefton, we are proud to celebrate the incredible contributions of family carers and Care Professionals across our local area. During this year’s National Carers Week, we deepened our commitment to providing support for family carers in Liverpool and Sefton, while strengthening our partnerships with valued local community organisations.
We were delighted to take part in a special event hosted by the Carers Trust – Sefton Carers Centre on South Road in Waterloo. This well-attended gathering brought together family carers, health professionals, and community groups from across Liverpool North and Sefton to highlight the essential role carers play in supporting older people and those living with complex needs at home.
As part of the event, our team joined forces with the Sefton Living Well Bus to offer free health and wellbeing checks for unpaid carers – including our own dedicated Care Professionals. These checks provided a meaningful way to care for those who spend so much of their time supporting others.
“This is about recognising the people who give so much of themselves to care for others,” said Director & Business Owner Dave Bellis. “Whether they’re working in homes or supporting loved ones, carers deserve all the appreciation and support we can offer.”

Care Professionals from our team were invited to access free health screenings on the Living Well Bus, highlighting our commitment to staff wellbeing. Looking after those who provide care is central to our mission. We also recognise the importance of offering respite care in Liverpool North and Sefton, giving family carers a much-needed break while ensuring their loved ones continue to receive high-quality support.
Our Care Professionals are the heart of our service. They deliver compassionate, consistent care every day to help older people remain independent and connected to their communities.
To further show appreciation for our incredible team, Director’s & Business Owners, Dave Bellis and Denys Hall hosted a summer barbecue at our Liverpool office. It was a relaxed and heartfelt gathering that recognised the daily dedication of both our Care Professionals and office staff who support older people throughout Liverpool and Sefton.

We continue to champion care that people want as well as need. Events like National Carers Week serve as a powerful reminder of how much can be achieved when we work together with local partners to support our community.
