Radfield Home Care Ormskirk was proud to support the recent Open Day at Derby Day Centre, Ormskirk – a celebration of community care, social connection, and local collaboration. Alongside Dementia Friends Ambassador Joe Sherville and Burscough Neuro Physiotherapy, we were honoured to be part of an event that echoes our core belief: to be there for older people in our communities.
The Derby Day Centre Open Day showcased the incredible work being done to provide support for older people in Ormskirk and surrounding areas. The centre provides a vital space for older adults to enjoy meaningful activities, engage socially, and receive personalised care in a welcoming and safe environment. For many, this type of service is more than practical support, it’s a lifeline of connection, purpose, and joy.
At Radfield Home Care Ormskirk, we know that connection is essential to wellbeing. Our work is centred on helping older people remain independent and stay engaged with the people, places, and routines that matter most to them.
Our involvement in the Open Day reflects our commitment to working collaboratively across the care sector. As one of the leading providers of private home care in Ormskirk, Liverpool and Sefton, we believe that supporting community-based initiatives helps to build a network of care that truly meets the needs of older people.
“Working together across organisations helps create a stronger, more inclusive support network for older people,” said a representative from Radfield Home Care. “Being present in the community is part of who we are. Whether it’s a day centre, a care home, or someone’s private home, we believe every older person deserves to feel seen, heard, and valued.”
By partnering with local organisations like Derby Day Centre, we help ensure that home care in Ormskirk remains personal, proactive, and connected. These relationships allow us to extend our impact beyond the home – ensuring that older people can continue to thrive in a vibrant and supportive community.
Through our close collaboration with local partners, we are committed to reducing isolation, preventing loneliness, and creating new ways for older adults to stay involved.
As our population ages, it’s more important than ever to build a care system that is integrated, kind, and community-focused. The Derby Day Centre Open Day reminded us of what’s possible when care providers, health professionals, and community leaders come together with a shared mission: to help older people live well at home and within their communities.
At Radfield Home Care Ormskirk, we remain dedicated to showing up, building partnerships, and being a consistent source of support for older people across our region.
