About Gemma

Gemma is the Registered Manager at Radfield Home Care Wakefield & Huddersfield and has successfully led the day-to-day management of the service for the past seven years, building on over 20 years’ experience managing care services.

Gemma is responsible for the safe, effective and consistent delivery of care, working closely with care professionals, clients and families to ensure support is well planned, responsive and relationship-led. She plays a central role in overseeing care quality, managing risk, supporting the care team and adapting services as people’s needs change.

Working closely with Jackie, the Director, Gemma helps ensure the business is well governed, professionally run and continuously improving. Together, they focus on maintaining high standards, strong oversight and a supportive working environment where care professionals are managed and supported effectively.

Under Gemma’s management, the service has built a strong reputation for reliability, safety and quality. This is reflected in excellent audit outcomes, strong performance within the Radfield network, and consistently positive feedback from clients, families and care professionals.
