Jackie is the Director of Radfield Home Care Wakefield & Huddersfield and is actively involved in the business on a daily basis, providing leadership, oversight and direction to the local team.

Working closely with Gemma, the Registered Manager, and the office team, Jackie supports decision-making around care quality, staffing and how support is delivered as people’s needs change. While she is not involved in providing care directly, she plays an ongoing role in ensuring the business is well run, responsive and focused on doing things properly.

Being locally owned means Jackie and the team retain direct control over standards and quality. Decisions are made locally, with safety, consistency and long-term reliability as priorities, rather than being driven by remote structures or targets. This local accountability allows the business to adapt quickly and maintain continuity as circumstances evolve.

Under Jackie’s leadership, Radfield Home Care Wakefield & Huddersfield has built a strong reputation for providing trustworthy, safe and relationship-led care. This is reflected in robust audit outcomes, national and local recognition, and consistently positive feedback from clients, families and care professionals.

Alongside her role in the business, Jackie has also helped establish a local community café to reduce social isolation and support connection for older people, reflecting values of dignity, wellbeing and relationships that influence how the team approaches care every day.
