About Hollie

Meet Hollie, Project Manager at Radfield Home Care National Office. Hollie has a vast array of skills she has developed throughout her career from working in varying roles and fields, which she uses to greatly benefit the Radfield team.

What is your background prior to joining Radfield?

Before joining Radfield, I worked as a Regional Lead Account Manager for an educational technology company. I launched a new territory in Bristol, where I built the operation from the ground up – developing processes, establishing a client base, and leading a team to manage relationships with schools across the city.

Prior to that, I worked as a Business Development Manager for a global private tuition franchise, where I supported franchise partners with regional growth and service delivery. Earlier in my career, I spent time in the creative industries after earning a degree in Fashion Communication, including roles in magazine publishing, editorial and photography and freelance journalism. I also managed a flagship retail store in Liverpool, gaining valuable experience in people management and customer service.

Additionally, I worked in China as a foreign manager and teacher, an experience that strengthened my adaptability and global outlook – particularly as I navigated the unique challenges of living abroad during the pandemic.

How has your background prepared you for your new role at RHC?

Across each of these roles, I’ve developed a strong foundation in project and people management, operations, and service development. I’ve worked independently to launch new initiatives and have led teams through growth and change – all while maintaining a focus on quality and client satisfaction.

These experiences have given me the tools to build structure, lead with empathy, and adapt quickly – skills that are essential in coordinating high-quality care services. While I’m new to the care sector, my background has equipped me with the strategic and interpersonal skills needed to succeed in this environment.

What has inspired you to want to be involved in the adult social care sector?

I was looking for a career path that not only matched my skills but also aligned with my values – something that felt truly meaningful. I’ve always been driven by roles where I can see the real impact of my work, and while education fulfilled that for a time, moving into adult social care felt like a natural next step.

The decision was also shaped by a change in my personal circumstances, which gave me the opportunity to reflect on what matters most. It made me realise how important it is to do work that has purpose – work that directly contributes to people’s quality of life. Supporting individuals to age well, with dignity and independence, is something I’m proud to be part of. Life is too short not to do something that truly makes a difference.

How do you feel your role, and your experience, will benefit Radfield’s clients?

My role is focused on managing and growing our live-in care service and helping more people across the UK understand how this type of care can support independence, wellbeing, and a better quality of life at home. I’m a people-focused leader with a hands-on leadership style, and a track record of building and developing successful services. By supporting Care Professionals to deliver excellent care and raising awareness of live-in care, I’m committed to helping clients live well for longer – safely and happily in their own homes.
