As part of Dementia Awareness Week in May, Radfield Home Care Wycombe, Beaconsfield & South Bucks proudly hosted a wonderful community event called “Forget Me Not” in partnership with Shelburne Lodge, Barchester Healthcare.
Held at Bourne End Library, the event welcomed local residents, care professionals, and members of the community to come together for a warm and friendly afternoon focused on dementia awareness, support, and connection.
The event was filled with meaningful conversations, community spirit, and valuable information about the local support available for people living with dementia and their families.
Guests enjoyed delicious cakes, hot drinks, and the opportunity to meet local care and support providers who are passionate about improving the lives of people affected by dementia.
The “Forget Me Not” event created a safe and welcoming space where people could ask questions, share experiences, and learn more about the services available within the community.

At Radfield Home Care Wycombe, Beaconsfield & South Bucks, we are proud to be part of a caring community that works together to promote dementia awareness and support independent, safe, and joyful living at home.
We believe that staying connected, informed, and supported makes a real difference to people living with dementia and to their loved ones. Events like this help reduce isolation and encourage stronger community connections.

We would like to thank everyone who attended and helped make the event such a success. A special thank you goes to our partners at Shelburne Lodge, Barchester Healthcare, and Bourne End Library for helping us bring the community together during Dementia Awareness Week.
