Looking after those who care for others

The recent hot weather has brought challenging conditions, and we’d like to say a huge thank you to our incredible care team for continuing to provide exceptional care and support throughout the heatwave. Staying hydrated is vital, for both our clients and our care professionals.

To help everyone stay safe and comfortable, we’ve been providing ice-cold water to our team while they’re out in the community and encouraging the offering of refreshing cold drinks to clients during visits whenever possible.

Thank you for your continued dedication, compassion, and commitment. Your care and support, especially during periods of extreme weather, make a real difference every day.

Welcome & Training Success

Congratulations to Dolly, Lucy, and Savanna on completing their Induction and Practical Training, and to Mirta, Nat, Ibrahim, Rosie, and Eman for successfully completing their Refresher and Practical Training. Thank you all for your commitment to learning, developing your skills, and continuing to provide excellent care. We wish you every success in your roles.

Work Anniversary Celebrations

A special congratulations to Christine on successfully completing 1 wonderful year with Radfield Home Care. Thank you for your dedication, hard work, and the positive difference you make every day. We would also like to celebrate Nat on achieving an amazing 3 years with Radfield Home Care. Thank you for your continued commitment, loyalty, and the care and support you provide to those around you. We are incredibly grateful to have you both as part of our team and look forward to celebrating many more milestones together!

Be There Moments & Home Care Feedback

Here we have a few of the Be There moments from last month!

• This afternoon I gifted a cup to help my clients to drink more. She took well to the cup and drinking has improved.
• I drove R to the ice cream farm, and treated her to ice cream and bottle of water Enjoying ice cream together.
• On my way to R I decided to stop at the shop to buy for her and me lunch. We had a nice meal together, in her garden and it was very lovely for both of us.
• A multi purpose cup for hot and cold, with beaker and straw especially designed for seniors easy to hold and light weight.
• Due to hot weather, I helped J to have her breakfast in the garden for a better view and breeze. She enjoyed it and I was happy to transform a simple meal in a special one.
• Because I knew D’s favourite colour is yellow, I brought her some little yellow flowers. She was extremely happy and kept thanking me throughout my visit. I’m really happy that I managed to make her smile with just a few tiny flowers.

Family Feedback:

Radfield Homecare are simply perfect! From our very first contact until now, three months into using their help, Po and the team have gone above and beyond to help our mother, who has Alzheimers. The visits themselves are amazing and Mum really enjoys every moment.

Alongside help with personal care Mum goes for a lovely walk on nice days and has a hot lunch prepared for her. Her carers are always warm, friendly and kind and it is notable how a high level of passion and professionalism runs through the entire team. They provide us with photos and videos of what Mum has done each time they visit which is a lovely extra and we enjoy seeing these. Our Dad also really likes the carers and I think their visits are enjoyed by him too.

At a time when we really could not stretch ourselves any further to provide Mum with the additional time and care she needs we now have this huge extra help, with their expertise, patience and passion, in the form of the Radfield team. Thank you so much.
