Four years flies by when you love what you do.
To mark four years of helping local families across Barnet and Finchley, the team at Radfield Home Care Barnet & Finchley recently got together for a relaxed family celebration.
It was a chance to say a big thank you to our Care Professionals and their loved ones, with a laid-back afternoon of pizza, ice cream, games for the kids, and plenty of good conversation!
The celebration comes at an especially proud time for our team, who have recently been named one of Homecare.co.uk‘s Top 20 Home Care Providers in London for the third consecutive year. This recognition is based entirely on honest reviews from our clients and their families, it means the world to everyone here.
Reflecting on the last four years, Director Po Wun Wan shared:
“Four years ago, we set out with a simple vision; to provide the kind of care that we would want for our own families. Looking back at how far we’ve come, I couldn’t be prouder of what our team has achieved. Every milestone we’ve reached has been built on kindness, compassion and a genuine commitment to making a difference in people’s lives.”
Since first opening our doors, we’ve had the privilege of helping hundreds of local people stay safe and independent in the homes they love.
Alongside providing daily home care in Barnet and Finchley, our team loves getting involved in local life. Whether it’s running free gentle chair yoga sessions, volunteering with community dementia support groups in Finchley, or partnering with local charities to help tackle loneliness, being there for our neighbours is at the heart of everything we do.
Po explained why building these warm connections matters so much:
“Home care is about so much more than helping with daily tasks. It’s about building relationships, restoring confidence, bringing companionship and giving families peace of mind. We are incredibly privileged to be welcomed into our clients’ homes, and we never take that responsibility for granted.”
While the get-together was a chance to mark four years in business, the real focus was on celebrating our Care Professionals.
By offering ongoing training, gentle support, and a genuinely friendly working environment, we make sure our team feels appreciated every day. Looking after our staff means they can bring their best selves to work
Speaking at the party, Po said:
“This celebration was our way of saying thank you. Our care professionals go above and beyond every single day, often making an extraordinary difference through the smallest acts of kindness. The Top 20 Home Care Award belongs entirely to them because it reflects the experiences our clients and families have every day.”
As Radfield Home Care Barnet & Finchley heads into its fifth year, our focus remains exactly the same: providing thoughtful, high-quality care that helps people live comfortably on their own terms.
“We are incredibly proud of the last four years, but we know our journey is only just beginning.
