Radfield Home Care Nominated for New Business of the Year Award

Radfield Home Care Havering and Brentwood are proud to announce that they have been shortlisted as finalists for the Thames Gateway New Business of the Year Award 2017.

We are extremely proud to have been nominated for the award in the New Business Category. It was a challenging entry process, where we had to provide evidence of how we met the judging criteria across four categories:

  1. Business Strategy – Demonstrate how your business plan was workable and how adaptable it is to change or how it can be altered if situations arise that warrant change.
  2. Success – Demonstrate what success has been achieved against the business plan.
  3. Promotion – Show how promotion was planned and executed in a controlled and cost-effective way and how responses were monitored.
  4. Innovation – Demonstrate innovation through new products/services, or systems showing innovation in management or running.

We are in the process of integrating the award logo into our marketing materials and have it up in pride of place in our office and on our staff noticeboard. All the team is very excited that we have been nominated and we are looking forward to Mary and Sarah from the Chamber of Commerce to visit us this week for the next stage of judging.

Today, the Thames Gateway Business Awards have released the full list of nominees and we are grateful to be sharing this opportunity with the following local businesses:

Radfield Home Care (Havering & Brentwood) was set up in June 2017 by cousins Lisa and Jennie, who were inspired to help the local community when they saw the great benefits their Nan (Nanny Fish) received from loving care in the home. We try to bring a different approach to caring for people’s loved ones, we want home care to be about community integration and being out and about, doing the things you love. We take our clients to the theatre, for cream teas and even fish and chip Fridays!
