The Radfield Home Care Liverpool North & Marie Curie Charity Tee Off Golf Event proved to be another fantastic success, bringing together golfers, volunteers and supporters for a memorable day of fundraising in aid of Marie Curie.

Held on Wednesday 8 July, the event welcomed 24 golfers, double the number who took part last year, demonstrating the growing support for this annual fundraising initiative.
Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, the Marie Curie Charity Golf Day raised £286.32 to support Marie Curie’s vital work, providing expert end-of-life care in Liverpool and Sefton for people living with a terminal illness and their families.
The day was made even more enjoyable by excellent weather, a friendly atmosphere and the commitment of everyone who took part, both on and off the course.

Dave Bellis, organiser of the event and Director of Radfield Home Care Liverpool North & Sefton, said:
“Thank you to everyone who came along today and made the event such a success. Last year we started with just 12 golfers, and this year we’ve doubled that to 24. It was a fantastic atmosphere throughout the day, made even better by the brilliant weather. We’re already looking ahead to next year, with our sights set on 32 golfers and an even bigger event. Thank you all for your incredible support, we couldn’t do it without you.”

Radfield Home Care would like to extend its sincere thanks to the Southport Municipal Golf Club team and everyone who helped make this standout choice among charity fundraising events in Sefton possible, including the Radfield Home Care Head Office team in Shrewsbury, sponsors, volunteers, golfers and everyone who donated.
Special thanks also go to Rylie, Regional Fundraiser for Marie Curie, for attending and supporting the event throughout the day.
Congratulations are extended to all of the day’s prize winners, whose achievements added to the celebratory atmosphere.
Building on the success of this year’s event, Radfield Home Care is already looking ahead to next year’s charity golf day, with ambitions to welcome even more golfers and raise even more money for Marie Curie.
