Radfield Home Care Liverpool North & Sefton has announced a new regional community partnership with Remember Me Day Centre in Aintree, Liverpool, reinforcing its commitment to supporting people living with dementia and their families across the North West.
Dementia remains one of the most significant health and social care challenges facing the UK. There are currently around 982,000 people living with dementia in the UK, and this number is expected to rise to 1.4 million by 2040 due to an ageing population.
Despite progress, more than a third of people with dementia do not have a formal diagnosis, highlighting ongoing challenges in care and support services. Across the North West, which includes Liverpool, Sefton, and surrounding areas.
The prevalence of dementia reflects these national trends, with many individuals in our local communities still living without a formal diagnosis or adequate support.
The partnership brings together Radfield Home Care’s personalised home care services with Remember Me Day Centre’s specialist dementia-focused activities. This collaboration creates a joined-up approach to care that supports independence, wellbeing, and vital community connection.
Remember Me Day Centre is led by Rebecca Anderson, Owner and Managing Director, who brings more than 14 years’ experience in health and social care.
Rebecca has recently been featured on BBC television and radio for her work in delivering stimulating, person-centred activities designed to help slow the progression of dementia. Beyond activities, she also offers essential dementia awareness training for families, helping them navigate the complexities of the condition.
Speaking about the partnership, Rebecca Anderson said:
