At Radfield Home Care Liverpool North & Sefton, we are proud to stand alongside our local community in supporting those who have served our country. As part of our ongoing commitment to community engagement, we recently had the pleasure of joining a heartwarming coffee morning hosted by the Royal British Legion at The Hub on Wesley Street, Southport.
It was a truly special morning where ex-servicemen gathered to share their stories, enjoy one another’s company, and, of course, savour a well-deserved cup of tea. The room was filled with laughter, camaraderie and respect, reflecting the strength and spirit that continues to unite our local community.
The Royal British Legion continues to play an important role in supporting veterans and their families across Southport and the wider Sefton area. Through initiatives like weekly coffee mornings at The Hub, the charity provides a lifeline of connection and compassion for those who have dedicated their lives to service.
These gatherings take place every Tuesday and Thursday from 10am to 2pm and offer a warm, welcoming space for veterans to meet, share stories and feel part of something bigger. It is this sense of belonging and friendship that mirrors what we strive to provide every day through our home care in Liverpool North & Sefton.

On Tuesday 11th November, Armistice Day, we will be joining the Royal British Legion and veterans at The Hub in Southport to remember and honour all those who gave their lives in service. Standing together in remembrance is a powerful reminder of the importance of connection, compassion and gratitude.
