We are proud to launch our new Community Coach Trips, designed to bring together older people from Ormskirk, Southport, and nearby towns, as well as residents from independent living and care homes, for memorable days filled with companionship, joy, and exceptional hospitality.
On Friday, 22 August, ladies from The Fountains Independent/Retirement Living in Ormskirk enjoyed a special outing to The Grand Hotel, Southport. Guests were warmly welcomed with drinks on arrival before enjoying a beautifully prepared selection of sandwiches, fresh soup, and perfectly brewed tea and coffee.
The event was hosted in elegant surroundings and offered at a specially supported cost, making it an accessible and memorable experience for everyone. Thanks to the generosity of local sponsors and Charlton Mini Coaches, a trusted family-run business, guests travelled for free in safety and comfort, allowing them to focus on enjoying the day.
The Grand Hotel created a truly memorable afternoon, with many guests expressing their delight. One attendee was even moved to tears of happiness. Karen, House Manager at The Fountains, attended the trip and shared her gratitude:
