On Tuesday, 18th August, our Radfield Home Care Liverpool North & Sefton and Ormskirk team joined Marie Curie Regional Fundraiser Rylie at Tesco in Burscough to raise vital funds for Marie Curie and help support people living with a terminal illness and their loved ones.
We spent the morning at Tesco in Burscough, speaking with members of the local community, raising awareness of Marie Curie’s vital work and encouraging shoppers to support the charity through donations. It was a wonderful opportunity for us to come together, support a worthwhile cause and connect with people in the Burscough community.
Marie Curie provides essential care and support to people living with a terminal illness, as well as their families and loved ones, during some of the most difficult times in their lives.
The charity’s work is particularly meaningful to Radfield Home Care, whose own approach to care is centred around providing compassionate, person-centred support and helping people to live well and with dignity in the comfort of their own homes.
Supporting local charities and community organisations is an important part of caring for the wider community. The Radfield Home Care team believes that care extends beyond the services provided every day and includes supporting organisations that make a meaningful difference to local people and their families.
Taking part in the Marie Curie fundraising event in Burscough gave the team an opportunity to come together, meet local residents and help raise awareness of the vital support available to people and families facing terminal illness.
Dave Bellis, Director and Owner of Radfield Home Care Liverpool North & Sefton and Ormskirk said:
“Supporting charities such as Marie Curie is incredibly important to us at Radfield Home Care. We see first-hand how much compassionate care and support can mean to individuals and their loved ones, particularly during challenging times. Being able to come together as a team and support such a worthwhile cause is something we are extremely proud of.”
We would like to thank everyone who stopped by Tesco in Burscough, said hello, made a donation or helped raise awareness of Marie Curie’s vital work.
Every contribution, no matter how small, can help Marie Curie continue providing essential care and support to people living with a terminal illness and their families when they need it most.
