Gemma Bristow, Registered Care Manager

Gemma is the registered care manager for the Radfield Home Care Wakefield and Dewsbury office and has worked in the care sector for over 13 years.  Gemma commenced her career as an administrator and soon became involved in supporting the delivery and coordination of care.

Gemma’s Progression into Care Management

Gemma very quickly progressed into her first management role in 2014 as a service manager. After taking a short career break to spend time with her family, she stepped back into a management role a year later, gaining her CQC Registration. Her career in care has offered her great flexibility to balance work with family life.

She is also dedicated to achieving outstanding results, and this can be seen in her work. She has managed branches that were flagged as requiring immediate improvement and has turned them around.

Why Radfield Home Care?

Gemma explains,

“Family values are important to me, as I have always believed in the value of treating staff and clients as family, showing respect and understanding.  I love how I now feel part of the Radfield family and love working with Jackie and Mark, our directors delivering a high quality, people-centric care service to our extended family – our clients.”
