On Friday, May 23rd, our dedicated team at Radfield Home Care Harrogate, Wetherby, & North Yorkshire laced up our walking boots and embarked on a heartfelt 26-mile walk for the We Walk for Yorkshire campaign. We’re thrilled to share that we completed every mile, raising over £1,800 for Yorkshire Cancer Research.
Trekking through fields and across rivers, we pushed through blisters, aching feet, and tired legs, but more than anything, we felt a deep sense of pride, purpose, and unity. It was a powerful day filled with compassion, connection, and unwavering commitment to a cause that truly matters.

This walk was our way of giving back, of standing shoulder to shoulder with those affected, and showing our community what care really means.
A heartfelt thank-you goes to our incredible Registered Manager, Liz, who acted as our support vehicle, and all-around superstar. She met us at every stop with water, snacks, kind words, and encouragement. Her care and support truly embodied what Radfield is all about, being there when it matters most.
As one of the trusted local care agencies in Harrogate, Wetherby, Knaresborough, Ripon, Boroughbridge, and surrounding areas, we’re proud to have a team of community Care Professionals who consistently go above and beyond, both inside the home and beyond its walls.
