Did you read the email I sent you recently about the importance of the right mindset?
It was all about an article written by Alex Green from Radfield where it talks about how important the right attitude is in this business, and I found it particularly fascinating as it relates so closely to how people think about joining a franchise – and what might be holding them back.
Really thought-provoking stuff. In fact, I’ve been putting a lot of thought into where my life is and what I want to achieve, and having a bit of seismic shift in mindset of my own.
For years, I’ve been helping people find the right franchise, cheering them on as they take the leap and build something of their own. I’ve loved every minute but, recently, I started feeling that maybe it was time I did the same. Maybe it was time I started building something for myself rather than just helping others to achieve their dreams.
My time working with the Radfield Home Care franchise means I have an in-depth understanding of exactly what they’re all about – their long standing and genuine passion for their sector, their professionalism, brand, values and culture, their support to their network and the quality of those within it.
When I started rethinking what I wanted from life and work this year, I kept coming back to Radfield, and the more I became convinced that they were the perfect fit for my plans. Fortunately, they felt the same way about me!
Aside from my experience in working in franchising, I’m actually not so different from many other people who choose to partner with Radfield. Like many of their partners, this isn’t just a business decision, it’s a personal one, too. I have my own first-hand experiences of the importance of quality care after seeing just how big an impact it had on my own mother in her later years. This big move is all about making sure I play a part in creating a world where everyone has access to the kind of care which helps them lead the lives they want to lead for as long as possible.
I won’t lie – I’m both excited and nervous about making this move, but I know the team at Radfield have got my back and I can’t wait to get started.
So, this is a goodbye from me! For everyone I’ve spoken to over the last few months, it’s been an absolute pleasure. If we haven’t had the chance to talk yet, I really hope you’ll continue to explore the Radfield opportunity. Trust me, you won’t regret it.
I’ll be handing over to my very capable (ex) colleague, John Overdijking, who will be your main man for anything and everything to do with the Radfield Home Care franchise from now on. He’s incredibly experienced in franchising, and a really lovely chap to boot, so you’ll be in safe hands.
He’ll be in touch soon to introduce himself, but if you want to set up a call before that, you just need to click the button at the bottom of this email to schedule a call with him.
