Radfield wins Princess Royal Training Award for their franchise training

On Tuesday 6th December, Her Royal Highness The Princess Royal, welcomed myself, Dr Hannah MacKechnie, founder & director of Radfield Home Care to Banqueting House in London to celebrate successfully achieving a Princess Royal Training Award.

We are among 46 winners, chosen for our commitment to training and development. We were selected for “Investing in franchisees” via the Radfield Runway training programme. The programme upskills franchise partners to become confident business owners in the home care sector.

I founded Radfield Home care alongside my brother, Alex Green, as an evolution of our parents’ residential care home.

I am enormously proud of our team for being recognised with this award. We are constantly striving to provide the very best business and care compliance support for our franchise partners and this is a true validation of our efforts. I would like to thank the assessors for giving us this esteemed accolade, I would also like to thank each and every member of our franchise support team, and of course, I would like to thank our franchise partners themselves who are out there right now, providing life-changing care.

What is the Princess Royal Training Award?

The Princess Royal Training Awards recognise employers across the United Kingdom who deliver outstanding training and development programmes that have had a direct impact on their people and organisations. This year, applications were made from a wide range of organisations from large multi-nationals through to small not-for-profits.

Kirstie Donnelly MBE, Chief Executive of City & Guilds said:

“This year we have seen applications from a range of organisations who have prioritised the development of their teams, as they continue to operate in a challenging context. I am delighted that we are able to recognise 46 fantastic employers who place value on training their employees. From inclusion and diversity, through to programmes addressing the ongoing impact of climate change and tackling skills shortages in certain sectors – organisations are using training to address these issues. It’s an honour to come together and celebrate these organisations’ shared and unrelenting commitment to learning and development.”
