Radfield launches ‘Become A Hero’ carer recruitment campaign

Radfield Home Care has launched its national Become A Hero recruitment campaign to help support the vulnerable over 70s during the coronavirus pandemic.

With increased pressure being placed on the UK’s healthcare system due to COVID-19, the Homecare.co.uk Top 20 provider has launched its new recruitment campaign to encourage individuals to consider a career in care and help ease the strain on the NHS.

Radfield Home Care’s governance and operations manager, Jess Jenkinson explains:

“Our care and wellbeing services have always been tailored to meet the needs of vulnerable individuals who would find themselves very isolated without our support. In the current climate, more and more older people will be forced into this situation to protect themselves from COVID-19.

To help support these individuals, we have excellent opportunities for those looking to give something back during this difficult time and support those in need. Hopefully, our home care jobs will also be able to support those individuals who may have found themselves out of work at this difficult time too.”

Regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), Radfield Home Care specialises in providing care and support services to the UK’s ageing population. Care workers deliver a wide range of senior care services, from companionship and personal care to specialist dementia and palliative care.

Founder of Radfield Home Care franchising, Dr Hannah MacKechnie hopes the new Become A Hero campaign will be able to support the fantastic work healthcare workers throughout the UK are doing during the pandemic:

“I feel incredibly humbled by the fantastic work of all care assistants, nurses, doctors and healthcare staff throughout the UK right now. They are doing a fantastic and selfless job to combat the coronavirus pandemic and I hope Radfield Home Care’s tremendous care workers are able to further support these efforts throughout the weeks and months ahead.”

With 14 locations throughout the UK, Radfield Home Care’s care assistant jobs benefit from a unique Caring for our Carers™ pledge. This promises employees fair pay, training and career development opportunities and a supportive work environment that recognises their personal needs.
