Earlier this summer Radfield Home Care Crawley & Reigate brought together local organisations, community groups, professionals, and residents for a special Later Life Festival.
A welcoming space where people could discover the wealth of support, services, and social opportunities available across our local area.

Our goal was simple: create an open space where older adults and their relatives could drop in, grab a cup of tea, and talk directly to the people running key services across our region.
Navigating care options, social groups, and financial planning can often feel overwhelming. With so many separate services available families frequently feel unsure where to turn or who to ask for help with a specific need.
The Later Life Festival offered a practical solution. Rather than spending weeks researching isolated services online or over the phone, visitors were able to meet representatives face-to-face, ask questions, and explore options side-by-side.
From gentle exercise and social clubs to financial advice and healthcare guidance, the event highlighted support for every stage of later life.
It takes a whole community to help people age wellAt Radfield Home Care Crawley & Reigate, supporting people to age well in their own homes is at the heart of everything we do. However, helping older adults remain independent, healthy, and connected isn’t the responsibility of one organisation alone, it takes a whole community.
The festival also provided a valuable opportunity for local professionals and charity teams to connect with one another. When community groups and care providers build strong working relationships, it becomes much easier to signpost families to the right help and ensure no one slips through the cracks or feels isolated.
The success of the Later Life Festival highlights an exciting path forward for organisations across Crawley, Reigate, and the surrounding areas. By placing collaboration at the center of local care, we can continue building new partnerships that directly benefit local residents.
