We’re especially proud to collaborate with local primary schools in Guildford and Woking to encourage children to practise their letter-writing skills while forming genuine friendships with older adults in the community. These small acts of kindness can spark a deep sense of connection and purpose for both age groups.

For many older individuals, the days can feel long and quiet. When a letter arrives, especially one written just for them, it creates a moment of joy and reminds them they are thought of and appreciated.
