A bit of August Bank Holiday drizzle was never going to stop Hazlemere from celebrating! While the morning started with showery spells, the clouds cleared right on cue, bringing out big, energetic crowds for the 164th Hazlemere Fete.
Coming along to this event is something our team at Radfield Home Care Wycombe, Beaconsfield & South Bucks looks forward to every single year. There is nothing quite like seeing local stalls, traditional games, and familiar faces come together on the grounds to celebrate community spirit.
We love nothing more than getting out into the heart of the community to share friendly conversations and brighten people’s day. At this year’s Hazlemere Fete our team handed out 250 bespoke gift bags, ran our popular lucky wheel for prize winners, and shared friendly chats about local support options.
Our stand stayed busy all afternoon as visitors dropped by to test their luck on our trusty lucky wheel. From practical everyday treats to fun prizes, it gave us a great excuse to share a laugh with passers-by and hand out 250 goodie bags to local residents.
More than the games, though, it gave our team a chance to do what we love best: sit down, listen, and talk with people living in the area.
Beyond the games and giveaways, the fete provided an invaluable opportunity to build deeper, meaningful connections across the region. We were particularly touched to welcome several family members of our current clients, who dropped by our stand to catch up, share heartwarming stories, and offer kind feedback about our care services.
It was equally rewarding to network with other local stalls and community organizations, allowing us to learn more about the diverse support networks available in Hazlemere and surrounding areas. Sharing knowledge and discovering complementary services ensures we can all work together to better support our vulnerable neighbours.
