Stepping through the doors of the historic Old School House in Bexley on a bright summer morning, you couldn’t help but feel the excitement in the room.
On 15th July 2026, our team at Radfield Home Care Bexley, Dartford & Sidcup officially celebrated the opening of our new office home. The launch brought together local healthcare professionals, community leaders, and our wonderful Care Professionals for an afternoon of tours, tea, and local connections.
Guests enjoyed a tour of the new office, which has been designed to support the team under the Caring for our Carers pledge, ensuring they have the very best environment to work in.

We were honoured to welcome the Mayor of Bexley and their consort, who officially cut the red ribbon at the Old School House. Joining the celebrations were Bexleyheath Ward councillors Rags Sandhu and Bola Carew, who also works locally as a community pharmacist.
Atherly Sutton, Registered Care Manager of Radfield Home Care Bexley had this to say:
“Having the mayor of Bexley and their consort attend our launch and perform the ribbon cutting ceremony at the Old School House was an amazing endorsement! It was equally fantastic celebrating with Bexleyheath Ward councillors Rags Sandhu and Bola Carew”
The afternoon was packed with meaningful community connections:
The undisputed star of the day was our newest team member, Rodney, our 150cm Smiles Engagement Officer (SEO)! Rodney stood by the front entrance all day, greeting guests and bringing smiles to everyone who walked through the door.
As our Managing Director, Pav Gill, put it:
“Rodney represents the heart of what we do. We want the older people we support to feel that exact same comfort, warmth, and security every time our Care Professionals visit them at home.”

Opening our new office at the Old School House is just the beginning of our work in the neighbourhood.
As our team settles in, we are preparing to launch regular Care Information Days to give families free, zero-pressure advice on navigating later-life care. We are also preparing to open a dedicated Adult Day Care Centre nearby.
Whether you need advice on funding, help with daily household chores, or gentle visiting care Old School House Bexley locals can drop in to discuss, our office doors are always open.
If you are exploring care options for a loved one or want to find out more about our upcoming community events, we’d love to welcome you for a warm drink and an informal chat.
