We’ve been helping out Dementia Support South Lincs in Stamford

Our Care Professionals have been busy in the local Morrison’s collecting money on behalf of charity, Dementia Support South Lincs. It’s a subject close to our hearts and we what we can to support people in the Stamford, Peterborough & Rutland area’s experiencing dementia.

Our Care Professionals set up a stand at Morrisons store in Uffington Road where generous shoppers contributed over £100 to the charity. Dementia Support South Lincs is a local independent charity that, since its formation in 2011, has supported people affected by all forms of dementia living in The Deepings, Bourne, Stamford and surrounding villages.

A little generosity went a long way

They run regular therapeutic activity groups for people living with dementia and their Care Professionals. Yvonne Murphy, our Registered Care Manager comments:

“We were very proud to be able to raise money for Dementia Support South Lincs. Many of our clients live with dementia and benefit from the charity’s great work. Our Care Professionals joined us on the stand and enjoyed engaging with shoppers and raising awareness around dementia and the charity. It was wonderful to see the generosity of so many people.”
