Our Care Professional, Marilyn has been dedicated to providing Lillian with exceptional home care in Worcester and has developed a strong bond with her. Marilyn’s suggestion to throw Lillian a surprise birthday party was received with great enthusiasm by our team. We were more than pleased to help arrange the celebration.
Marilyn, displaying spectacular initiative, arranged for the party in the lounge area of Roland Rutter Court Pershore. This space is familiar to Lillian and her friends, creating a comfortable and home-like environment for the festivities.
With a stealthy sense of excitement, we issued invitation cards to Lillian’s family and friends, successfully keeping the surprise a secret.
Bringing a spirit of selfless dedication to the forefront, Marilyn voluntarily organised and hosted the party. Radfield extended its support by supplying banners and party essentials for Lillian’s 99th birthday. The party was a hit among all attendees, filled with delicious food offerings like sandwiches, tea, coffee, cake, and a specially designed birthday cake.
Lillian was overjoyed to observe the effort put into making her day special. Seeing her friends and family turn up to celebrate her remarkable life brought immense happiness to her heart. What touched her the most was the birthday cake and the warmth of the room resonated with the presence of her dear ones.
