Love was in the air at the Connexions Dementia Café this February as we hosted a special Valentine’s Musical Bingo session at the Worcestershire Football Association. The room was filled with singing, laughter, and plenty of toe-tapping as attendees enjoyed recognising familiar love songs and joining in with the fun.
The Connexions Dementia Café provides a welcoming space for people living with dementia and their carers to connect, socialise, and take part in meaningful activities. Music-based sessions like this are particularly powerful, as familiar songs can spark memories, encourage conversation, and lift mood.
At Radfield Home Care Worcester, Droitwich & Malvern, we are deeply committed to supporting our local community, not just through the care we provide at home, but by actively engaging in community initiatives that reduce isolation and promote wellbeing.
Events like this are a wonderful reminder of the power of connection, and we were delighted to see so many smiles around the room.
We’re proud to share that our Care Professionals have voted to make Parkinson’s UK our 2026 House Charity.
Working closely with individuals and families affected by Parkinson’s, our team understands the daily challenges this condition can bring. The decision to support Parkinson’s UK reflects both their professional insight and genuine passion for making a difference.
Parkinson’s UK funds vital research, provides expert information and support, campaigns for better services, and helps run local support groups, including monthly meetings in Worcester and Droitwich. Our Community Engagement Officer, Maddy, works closely alongside these local groups, helping us stay connected and actively involved in supporting the Parkinson’s community.
To kick off our fundraising efforts, we’re hosting an Easter Hamper Raffle, with all proceeds going directly to Parkinson’s UK. Thank you to everyone who is supporting this wonderful cause: together, we can make a meaningful difference.

We’re delighted to announce our new community partnership with Worcestershire Cricket Foundation, an organisation doing outstanding work using cricket and other accessible sports to improve health, inclusion and wellbeing across Worcestershire.
Through this partnership, Radfield Home Care is supporting Parkinson’s UK seated multi-sports sessions and Worcester Walking Cricket by providing free wellbeing cafés alongside activities. These cafés create welcoming spaces for participants and carers to enjoy a hot drink, connect with others and build friendships after sessions, helping to encourage attendance and strengthen the delivery of the Foundation’s programmes.
This partnership reflects our shared commitment to community-led wellbeing — bringing people together through movement, support and meaningful social connection. We’re proud to be working alongside Worcestershire Cricket Foundation and look forward to the positive impact this collaboration will have in the months ahead.
We’re excited to share that our brand new Adult Day Care Centre will be opening this March.
Designed around our belief in social days that support independence, confidence and connection, the centre offers older adults a warm, welcoming space to enjoy meaningful activities, companionship and professional support, all while continuing to live independently at home.
Each day includes qualified Care Professionals on site, personalised and regulated care plans, tailored activities, and a freshly prepared two-course hot lunch. We are now confirming places for our March intake, so give the office a call on 01905 427 863 to book, or discuss our centre further!

We were delighted to attend the recent Care Connections Day hosted by the Age UK Wyvern Living Well with Dementia Team at the Baptist Church, Droitwich.
The event brought together a range of local services and organisations, all committed to supporting individuals living with dementia, their families, and carers. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with members of the community, share information about the support available, and highlight how early guidance and collaboration can make a real difference.

This month we’re delighted to celebrate Karl’s 9-year anniversary with Radfield.
Over the years, Karl has played an important role in supporting both our care professionals and clients, bringing experience, dedication and a strong sense of teamwork to everything he does.
As a Field Care Supervisor, he works hard behind the scenes to ensure high standards of care are maintained and that the team feels supported day to day. His knowledge, commitment and steady presence have made a real difference over the past nine years.
Thank you, Karl, for your continued hard work and loyalty: we’re very grateful to have you as part of the Radfield family.
February has been a wonderfully busy month for birthdays at Radfield, as we celebrated three very special members of our team: Sarah, our Registered Care Manager, Angela and Clare, our Care Professionals.
From leadership and guidance, to years of dedicated service, to the everyday kindness and commitment shown to our clients, each of them plays such an important role in what we do. It’s always lovely to take a moment to recognise not just the work our team does, but the amazing people behind it.
With three birthdays in one month, it’s safe to say there’s been no shortage of cake and celebations!
