Community Comes Together for Elegant Ladies Day at The Grand

Residents from across the local area enjoyed a fabulous afternoon of elegance, friendship and celebration as Radfield Home Care Liverpool North & Sefton hosted a special Ladies Day event at The Grand in Southport.

A celebration of friendship and elegance in Southport

Guests from independent living communities, including The Fountains in Ormskirk and Kensington Court in Formby, came together for the occasion. Attendees were welcomed with drinks on arrival, followed by a delicious afternoon tea served by the exceptional hospitality team at The Grand.

The event created a warm and uplifting atmosphere, filled with laughter, conversation and new connections, as guests enjoyed spending time together in the beautiful surroundings of one of Southport’s most iconic venues.

Award-winning creativity and special guests

A highlight of the afternoon was a special judging competition for the best hair fascinator or hat. One of the ladies from The Fountains was crowned the winner, receiving a £25 gift voucher provided by The Grand. Her winning fascinator was a beautiful piece she had personally crafted herself, which impressed the judges and guests alike.

Adding to the occasion was a special appearance by Ebony, UK National Junior Miss Merseyside, who warmly greeted attendees and shared the spirit of Ladies Day – celebrating beauty, confidence, elegance and community.

Her friendly conversations and gracious presence helped make the afternoon even more memorable for the guests.
