Festive Outing Brings Seasonal Joy to Independent Living Residents

Radfield Home Care Liverpool North & Sefton has begun its festive community programme with a heart warming Christmas dining experience for residents of The Fountains Independent Living Development in Ormskirk. This special event supports our commitment to helping people live independently, stay socially connected, and enjoy a fulfilling lifestyle within their community.

A Memorable Festive Experience at The Grand in Southport

Twelve residents joined us for an elegant three course festive meal at The Grand in Southport. They were welcomed with complimentary arrival drinks, and the hospitality team provided outstanding service throughout the afternoon. The atmosphere was warm and joyful, offering residents a chance to relax, chat with friends, and enjoy high quality seasonal dining.

One resident shared their appreciation.

“It is so lovely to eat here in The Grand with friends. We always look forward to the coach trips organised by Radfield Home Care. They help those of us living independently at The Fountains to stay socially involved. We are already looking forward to more Radfield events in 2026.”

Supporting Social Connection and Independent Living

This outing reflects our wider mission to enrich the lives of older people by creating opportunities for social engagement and community involvement. As a trusted care provider in Liverpool North and Sefton, we understand the importance of helping people stay active and connected.

Karen Berry, Manager at The Fountains Independent Living Development, highlighted the value of this support.

“Although my main role is to oversee the smooth running of the building, I also believe it is important to ensure that residents remain happy, active, and involved. Events like this strengthen community spirit and contribute greatly to health and wellbeing. We had a fabulous afternoon at The Grand, and it is a privilege to work alongside Radfield Home Care. We are grateful to all sponsors, and to Charlton Mini Coaches for providing the transport.”

Celebrating Community Partnerships

Dave Bellis, Director & Business Owner of Radfield Home Care Liverpool North and Sefton, also shared his thoughts.

“It was wonderful to see residents enjoying themselves as we move into the festive season. We are proud to support people who live independently, helping them age well and remain active members of the community.”

We extend our sincere thanks to Charlton Mini Coaches and The Grand for their valued partnership. Their support helped create a memorable experience for local residents. This event marks the start of our festive programme, designed to uplift, celebrate, and connect people across the region.
