We were delighted to come together last week at the Toby Carvery in Ormskirk to celebrate Dementia Friends Ambassador Joe Sherville and his outstanding fundraising work for the Alzheimer’s Society. Joe has completed his third fundraising round this year, bringing his total to an impressive £1,600. As a trusted provider of home care in Ormskirk, we were proud to support Joe and recognise the dedication he continues to show for a cause that touches so many families.
The presentation event was attended by the Mayor and Deputy Mayoress of West Lancashire, along with representatives from The Fountains, Ormskirk. Their presence highlighted the strong sense of community support surrounding Joe’s efforts.

Jade Trafford, North West Regional Fundraiser for the Alzheimer’s Society, accepted the funds on behalf of the charity during a formal cheque presentation. The morning offered the perfect opportunity to acknowledge Joe’s commitment, as well as the incredible encouragement provided by his wife Sandra throughout the fundraising journey.
Dave Bellis, Director & Business Owner of Radfield Home Care Ormskirk, shared a heartfelt message of thanks.
“We are incredibly proud of Joe and everything he continues to do for a cause that touches the lives of so many families. His commitment, along with the support of his wife Sandra, is truly inspiring. We thank everyone who helped make this year’s fundraising such a success.”
Guests enjoyed a complimentary breakfast kindly prepared by the Toby Carvery team. Their warm hospitality helped create a welcoming and celebratory atmosphere that reflected the spirit of Joe’s remarkable achievement.
