About Hannah

Hannah is one of Radfield’s co-founders. Along with brother Alex, Hannah has a lifelong connection with care, having grown up in the residential care home that their parents ran in Shrewsbury.

Hannah’s medical background, experience and extensive qualifications enables her to play a leading role within Radfield in developing new services, driving quality standards and ensuring quality of care. She heads up the compliance team to help offices reach and maintain her high standards while meeting the requirements of the Care Quality Commission (CQC); the home care regulator.

As Hannah explains;

“While I was working in Shropshire I met many elderly clients who needed good quality care at home, but their relatives were struggling to find these services. With my family background in older people care, my brother’s social entrepreneurship and financial skills and my medical knowledge it seemed a perfect recipe to create Radfield Home Care!”

Outside of work, Hannah loves to travel, especially in Asia and down under, and taking to the slopes on skiing holidays with her family. When she’s not heading up hills and mountains you’ll probably find her hanging out with her kids, enjoying a local restaurant or absorbed in a good tv crime drama.

Career background

A fully qualified and experienced GP, Hannah graduated from Birmingham Medical School in 2000 before completing junior house surgeon and medical roles in Walsall Manor Hospital and Solihull Hospital.

After spending three years in New Zealand working in various roles in Christchurch hospitals, Hannah returned to the UK to complete her GP training. Having worked as a GP in Hampshire, London and Shropshire, in 2008 Hannah set up Radfield Home Care with Alex.
